Next week there will be workshops held in Bogota and Medellin which are a great opportunity for personnel at the farms to hear and talk to the people at Customs and USDA about issues that they may be having with the products that they are sending to the US. Customs will be there to talk about issues with the invoices and labels but more importantly USDA will be there to talk to the farms about the pests that are being detected in the flower shipments. The head entomologist from Miami will be there to talk specifically to the flower farms about suggestions to help with the pests!
Don’t miss this great opportunity to have contact with the main personnel from Customs and USDA and the farms can ask questions! Farm agronomists, quality control and pest management personnel should not miss these opportunities!
